Camera Gear

Camera Body

Pictured to the right is the body and a lens. The body is the camera on it's own, modern cameras usually have an LCD screen on the back for instant image review.

Lenses

A lens is the glass hardware that actually allows for light to enter camera and focuses on subject. I suggest a 50mm Lens with 1.8 f/stop.

Flash

most cameras have an in body flash or an accessory or hot "shoe" on top for an off body flash to be attached.

SD + CF Cards

Memory cards are inserted into the camera to store the images as data. I suggest a combination of SD and CF card readers with a duel slot camera. SD is the most common memory cards currently although some cameras also have micro SD cards, which then need a full size SD conversion card to utilize the micro card in a card reader.
