It includes history (or as cleverly altered in the title HERstory) of henna, from various resources. It's also a reference for the henna paste recipes, henna cone making and rituals associated with henna. Though, the most valuable resource in this book might be the 50+ pages of illustrations of henna designs often broken down for any skill level and the reference images of henna designs on physical bodies.
