San Diego 2021

This past weekend we headed to San Diego with my mama to enjoy the beach for a bit. The girls love grandma time and we had a blast, we did a whale watching tour - didn’t see any whales but did spot some Risso’s Dolphins out on the ocean. We enjoyed some Mexican food in Old Town San Diego and then woke up the next morning for some Açaí bowls and coffee, walked through the hotel to find new ducks and koi in the pond and then we were off to the San Diego Zoo, even though I actually think zoos are evil this is maybe one of 3 times I’ve ever taken them to a zoo. Yes it’s cool to see animals but it’s not cool for these majestic animals to be captured in tiny cages. I didn’t really include any images of the animals either because they’re not really photogenic behind all the gates and screens. After the zoo, we did some bay time and my oldest found fish guts, actually really cool to see the spine and bones of the fish. my own little marine biologist. And then of course my mama’s favorite a sunset over Pacific Beach.
