Camp Escape Retreat

Last month Meesh and I hosted our first ever retreat in Prescott, Arizona. We wanted to host a small circle of women in the woods for ceremony and renewal. We didn’t have a religion or mastery skill to found the retreat upon, but we knew women needed space to connect and be wild. That’s all we wanted, time in nature. We created this space for women to share stories, laugh, cry, move, hike, think and experience life in nature. I’m so proud of these women for choosing time for themselves this weekend and grateful for the energy they shared. I needed this experience as much as I needed to offer it. We brought it back to basics with the concept of old school summer sleep away camp, we made the best nourishing food, for everyone’s nervous system to feel safe. We crafted friendship bracelets to remind our inner child it’s aways a good time to make friends and connect with others. We took photos both digital but more importantly on disposable cameras to relive our teenage anticipation and element of surprise when the film gets developed and we see the images and how they turned out. We rested our bodies, we moved our bodies, we did yoga led by Meesh to remind us of our inner strength. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome of our first women’s retreat.

Our next retreat is planned for the end of April 2023 if you’d like more details send us a message Jenniferlindschutsky@gmail.com
