Leaving a Lasting Impression: Utilizing Your Portraits Effectively | Mindful Skin Haus Branding Session
Branding sessions are so personal to you and your brand, they’re my passion! Sharing suggestions and goals for your branding session so you can understand how and why these images can and should be used to convey your brand significance. HOW ARE YOU STANDING OUT FROM YOUR COMPETITION ?
Think about how you can utilize these portraits effectively to leave a lasting impression on your audience. Your portraits are more than just images – they are powerful tools that can help you connect with your target audience and convey your unique story.
Utilizing your portraits effectively is important to consider, especially with so many different platforms and channels where you will be sharing them. Whether it's your website, social media profiles, or marketing materials, each platform has its own requirements and specifications. Take the time to understand these requirements and optimize your portraits to make the most impact in each context. This might mean resizing or cropping your portraits, adjusting the color or lighting, or even reimagining how they can be used creatively.
I often leave extra background space on images so they can be easily cropped for your use, when selecting a round profile photo you need a bit extra background material so your face doesn’t get cut off in the perfect circle. for example, the images below to the left would be better for choosing a profile photo because you can see the sound bowl, however the one on the right would be better for an instagram story because it showcases the same content closer up. Sometimes it uploads best if you pre crop the profile photo as a square then upload it, so it will be centered correctly.
In addition, consider how you can leverage your portraits to build trust and credibility with your audience. People are more likely to trust businesses and individuals who they can connect with on a personal level. Your portraits humanize your brand and show the faces behind your business, making you more relatable and approachable. Use your portraits strategically in your marketing materials, website, and social media profiles to build that trust and establish a genuine connection with your audience.
Lastly, don't be afraid to repurpose and reuse your portraits across different platforms and campaigns. Your portraits are assets that can be utilized in multiple ways to maximize their impact. Whether it's updating your LinkedIn profile picture, featuring your portraits in an email campaign, or using them in print advertisements, find opportunities to showcase your portraits and keep them in front of your audience.
By utilizing your portraits effectively, you can leave a lasting impression on your audience, create a strong connection with them, and build a memorable brand presence. So, take the time to think about how you can make the most of your portraits and tell your story in a way that truly resonates with your audience.,
