Jaxon and Paige's Romantic Fall Wedding at Maroni Meadows in Snohomish, Washington by Jennifer Lind Schutsky

There’s something incredibly special about photographing the wedding of people you love in the Pacific Northwest. Jaxon and Paige are practically family - so when they asked if I could photograph their wedding I know there was only one answer a resounding, yes!

We were surprised the weather in Seattle was perfect the entire time we were there in mid september, hardly any rain, which did make our desert hearts a little sad to miss out on, however, the air felt crisp, the colors were rich, and the scenery was endlessly inspiring.

This beautiful fall wedding at Maroni Meadows in Snohomish, Washington was absolutely gorgeous. As a destination wedding photographer based in Phoenix, Arizona, I’m always drawn to lush, green environments — and this venue was like stepping into a dream.

Maroni Meadows is one of the most enchanting wedding venues in Snohomish, just outside of Seattle. The property is surrounded by towering evergreens, reflecting ponds, and open grassy fields that seem made for soft, golden-hour portraits. The fall leaves were just beginning to turn, adding warm tones that perfectly complemented the couple’s romantic color palette. For photographers, the natural light filtering through the trees is absolutely magical — the kind of lighting that makes every candid and emotional moment glow.

The wedding party’s thoughtful design work brought the already stunning space to life. Elegant floral arrangements, wooden accents, and ambient lighting made every corner of the venue feel intentional and inviting. Maroni Meadows gives couples the freedom to personalize the venue with their own decor, which means you can make the space feel uniquely yours. The staff also allows plenty of setup time before the ceremony — a dream come true for couples (and photographers!) who value the creative process.

As a Seattle wedding photographer and travel wedding photographer, I love being able to document not just the event, but also the atmosphere — the way the venue’s lush greenery framed the ceremony, the laughter echoing through the trees, and the soft mist that hung in the air as the evening turned to night. These natural elements add emotion and depth to every image, telling a story that feels trendy yet timeless.

One of my favorite parts of the day was photographing the couple just before sunset. and the entire setting felt like a scene from a movie. Guests gathered around tables filled with laughter, toasts, and the kind of joyful energy that defines a truly great wedding day.

I love to capture grooms carrying their new wife's train but this is the first time I've seen a groom scoop up his whole ass Bride to make sure her dress didn’t get dirty.
