Mindful Skin Haus Branding Session
Mindful Skin Haus Branding Session by Jennifer Lind Schutsky
I am always grateful for clients who trust my creativity completely. Nichoelle of Mindful Skin Haus is the owner and aesthetician of this amazing brand. Our vision was to do something a little bit different and incorporate fresh fruit like the fresh ingredients that are in her products used on facials.
We also opted to take a few photos outside for website use and social media stock imagery.
A lot of people don't realize that the benefit of having a branding session is not that all the sudden everybody's gonna be obsessed with your images, but rather it's a slow drip into your platforms, which allows you to build brand trust and also micro-dose content to your clients. So, these gorgeous images are backdrops or backgrounds for your message. I like to include blurry images or different textures so the client has options to use as backgrounds for text. They're also great for creating slides, which is super trending on Instagram right now. This creates a impactful image with your text overlay, and your clients will swipe through to read about whatever you have to say.
If your message is clear, they will also be able to use that education as an opportunity to deep in their trust with you and to further the desire to book a session with you or to buy your product when looking for inspiration, we often will go to our classics like Pinterest, but also trying to do something a little bit different than what we see there so we might get an inspiration from there, but then I will actively avoid using the same poses or the exact same content, and rather transition to a different prop or a similar emotion through a different technique.
I always tell my branding clients to bring a few random props things that they might not even think fit with your business, but maybe our things that they enjoy so for Nichoelle, here, she brought a deck of cards because she used to play poker and it's not really relevant to her job but it is a way too deep in her connection with her clients and it's intriguing. People are curious why she has a deck of cards and it allows for you to have a little more storytelling behind the scenes of who you are as the brand owner.
I personally am obsessed with textures, whether it's skin textures or surface textures. So for me, it's very fun to document faces and to capture all of the beautiful textures that are happening in her space and we just had so much fun with the mirror and creating a vibe with her branding photo sessions.
