Torah Completion Event in Phoenix Arizona by Event Photographer Jennifer Lind Schutsky

I was recently asked to photograph an event at a local yeshiva for the completion of a new torah, each letter is made by a human hand and there can be no mistakes, as you can imagine this is quite the arduous process and the celebration of such a finished piece of work is holy. At the end of the book each letter is filled in and the last few letters are completed with the help of community members. Another special holy honor. I really enjoyed watching the process and seeing how much such a sacred work is celebrated.
