Surprise Prescott Proposal Session

Man proposes to girlfriend at surprise Prescott proposal, by wedding photographer Jennifer Lind Schutsky.

I think hiring a photographer for your proposal is the smartest thing anyone can do for their future spouse. If you are thinking about proposing to your significant other - you absolutely should reach out to a photographer or content creator before you propose. If you are a super private couple and think that it would be awkward or you wouldn't want someone to photograph you, I suggest a content creator because it's going to be a much more neutral position just constant filming whereas, if you have a photographer they might be more apt to pose you after the fact.

This couple didn't really want to do posed photos because they actually had a dinner reservation immediately following this but we were able to snap a few photos. It was totally surprising for this woman and so we opted for a few photos without making it really overwhelming. However, if your partner is somebody who loves taking photos and is always ready to go for photos and you don't have some thing happening right after; I highly suggest a photographer that can capture the experience for you and then do a little mini session immediately following. Some people book a photographer for the engagement session but they make it like a photo shoot to begin with with the partner and so there's already an excuse for the photographer to be there if that's not for you that's not me you would ever do don't do that.

There are plenty of photographers with amazing lenses that can shoot from very far distances for the session I literally was across the lake waiting for them to show up. It was super fun to dress up like a little spy (just kidding I was wearing yoga pants and a straw hiking hat). But my point is is that if you are considering getting engaged you definitely want to have somebody there to document the experience whatever that looks like for you it could be a friend with a camera, it could be hired Photographer with professional equipment and gear, it could be a content creator (that's somebody that usually just has their cell phone ready to go so that you could put it on social media as soon as the moment is done). There's so many options but please do not get engaged without somebody taking your photo in the moment your happiness comes through so clearly in those real experiences and it's not something that you could ever re-create again. So don't skip on photography!!
